Landgate's Property Finder is the newest and easiest way to search and view information on properties in Western Australia.
It’s an easy-to-use map viewer that enables users to:
Search for a property, street, suburb, point of interest, local government area or townsite;
View it spatially; and
Purchase online products related to the area of interest.
Property Finder features simple navigation tools and three different views – map view which shows the street names and property borders, aerial view which displays aerial photography, and hybrid which combines both.
This is Western Australia’s version of the popular Google Maps program, but with the added benefits of greater image clarity and the ability to purchase property-related products online, such as Certificates of Title, suburb sales reports and survey plans.
Property Finder is now accessible via the Landgate website at

3D Demonstrator Points to Innovation in Land Information.
Landgate and ISA Technologies have partnered to develop a 3D Demonstrator which will display Landgate's statutory information, such as strata titles, in a new and innovative way.
The 3D Demonstrator, which was showcased at the Western Australian Land Information System (WALIS) International Forum 08 in Perth in March, provides an example of a multi-storey building layered with strata title and property sales information.
The development of the 3D Demonstrator provides both Landgate and ISA Technologies with the opportunity to come together to explore innovative ways of delivering the states digital data information in a 3D format.
As Western Australia’s Land Information Authority, Landgate is keen to display statutory information such as strata titles and property sales in a new and exciting way. By providing viewing realism and ease of access for customers the 3D Demonstrator allows a user to view the lay of the land before making a decision.
Landgate is committed to increased investment in research, development and innovation, and our work with ISA Technologies in the development of the 3D Demonstrator reflects our commitment to improve access to, and delivery of, land information
The project has also been supported by 3D Millipede, an animation group based in WA.

GBRS certificates now available.
Greater Bunbury Region Scheme certificates are now available to view and process through My Landgate.
The Greater Bunbury Region Scheme (GBRS) defines the future land use in the Greater Bunbury Region, dividing it into zones and reservations. Local governments will be required to provide detailed plans for their part of the region consistent with the GBRS.
The Greater Bunbury Region stretches as far north as Lake Preston, as far south as Capel, eastwards to the Darling Scarp, and covers the local government boundaries of the City of Bunbury and the Shires of Harvey, Dardanup and Capel.
The region’s population is expected to exceed 100,000 people by 2031, therefore it is vital to ensure an adequate supply of commercial, residential and industrial land, as well as the conservation of key environmental features to provide future growth.
The region scheme certificate system (RSCS) is a service that has been available through My Landgate for more than twelve months, and is a joint initiative between Landgate, Department for Planning and Infrastructure and the Western Australian Planning Commission.
It is designed to be used in conjunction with Electronic Advice of Sale2 (EAS2) or as a stand-alone product through Landgate.
If using EAS2, you can request a Clause 53 (GBRS) certificate, along with the Clause 42 (MRS) and Clause 47 (PRS) certificate. Alternatively, a stand-alone (GBRS) enquiry can be carried out through the Conveyancing Channel of My Landgate.

Proposal to simplify fee structure.
You told us you don’t like interactive charges so we've taken steps to discontinue them.
We’ve redefined our online products and pricing as part of our annual review of fees and charges. Our
fee structure for 2008 includes an amalgamation of interactive search functions for names and other indices with primary search functions for obtaining a copy of Certificate of Title, Check Search, Survey (Diagram, Deposited Plan and Strata Plan) and other conveyancing documentation registered with us.
Land Enquiry subscribers can now search for information using multiple screens without incurring interactive fees - except when searching screens for Power of Attorney detail and/or Sales Enquiry listings.
The new fees commenced on 1 July 2008. The benefits of the new pricing include:
access to multiple screens without incurring additional charges
certainty about the cost of obtaining land information online
easier to track costs, and
simplified invoicing
